the author of this emulator has been creating some interesting developments within the emulation community by developing a System 24 emulator. Check out his homepage, wher you can also find a System 16 emulator. Unfortunately although the sources for these emulators are available they are not easily portable and anyway the systems emulated use one or more 68k chips so speed would be minimal without some major work :-(

This is an excellent emulator for the Master System & Game Gear. It complements MGear. It has very good compatibility and the sound is superb as it supports FM emulation, which makes everything sound soooo much better.

You will need a fast machine to be able to run the emulator will full sound support and maintain a top speed, however when it is it is well worth it. You can disable the FM emulation if you need more speed or even all the sound.
